Good hotel for budget travelers. The hotel is old but in a quiet location. Rooms good, beds comfortable, air conditioning working. We had a room overlooking the river. The hotel offers breakfast, lunch and dinner but we did not use it. Asakusabashi Metro Station is nearby. Also grocery stores and noodle restaurants. I recommend this hotel to travelers without high requirements.

Stayed at the Belmont for 11 nights on a business trip. Hotel is a very short walk from Asakusabashi station so location wise a big advantage.Coffee shop, restaurants and convenience shops all at a walking distance. I did find 4 Indian restaurants nearby and that was a pleasant surprise! Room was very small and compact not surprising for a city like Tokyo. Basic amenities covered but the washroom had a stink for some reason, mould on shower was clearly visible. Hotel is very old and badly needs renovation. Landed very late in the night so missed my breakfast next morning since I was 5 minutes late (the option given was cereals and coffee btw since I am vegetarian). Breakfast options very poor. Had to make do with fruits and coffee most of the time, even bread is very poor. Had a bad experience with their restaurant as well, was told on more than one ocassion that there is a private party so cannot be seated! Please note that they have an early checkout at 10 am so a late night flight isa problem. Overall convenient location is the only positive!

As others have noted, this is in a great location in a busy neighbourhood- lots of restaurants and Japanese fast food places round about, as well as many convenience stores. My room was well furnished and equipped- sippers and gown and toiletries included. Free WiFi, a fridge (but no safe), a very comfortable bed, and enough space for this solo traveller. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent, plentiful, and inexpensive. I had lunch once, and it too was pretty good, as witnessed by the large number of locals who patronised it. Only downsides - the bath is tiny, and check out time is an early 10.00 am (the latter not so good when catching a 10.00 pm plane home.) Staff - friendly, courteous, helpful. Language barrier with cleaning staff, but made myself understood. Good value, convenient location; will be back!

Hotel is not so good, maybe because old hotel, but very good location to subway, train station, a lot of convenience store, many restaurant. I stay 4 night, 3 day breakfast set menu and buffet at the last day ........

Hotel is only a short walk to the train station. Rooms are small but the bed was comfortable. Bathroom did have some mould on the shower rail and in the fan/vent. The greatest disappointment though was that we were travelling as a school group and they had spread the students over three levels, with teachers all on one level (which isn't good for monitoring) and, worst of all, they had placed students on a smoking floor. As soon as you stepped out of the lift, you were hit with an incredible smell of smoke that was enough to make a non-smoker cough and gag. The rooms were even worse.
